Bri Tampa (she/they) is a therapist intern that has over 20 years of experience exploring the healing potentials of altered states of consciousness. She holds a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health and has trained with Grof Legacy, Polaris Insight, TAM Integration, Zendo Project, The FL School of Holistic Living, and The Center for Applied Jungian Studies. She has led university research, and is currently writing a book on consciousness. Bri has completed dietas, mentorships, and intensives in plant medicine, and has taught over 2,500 meditation and emotional intelligence classes.
Bri’s therapeutic approach coalesces ancient wisdom, Western modalities, and Eastern philosophy. She bridges practices that engage the unconscious through altered states; including sensory deprivation, psychedelic integration, dreamwork, and chanting. With modalities such as EMDR, Brainspotting, somatics, and parts work in order to further integrate them. With an emphasis on safety, attunement, and presence, she supports the natural unfolding of each individual’s connection to their innate healing intelligence.
Bri is passionate about bringing together community, education, and consciousness. She has led harm reduction and space holding at festivals and burning man events. Bri presented at the Summit on Consent and Healthy Relationships and is trained in bystander intervention towards safe spaces. She is committed to creating spaces that actualize compassion and belonging. Bri loves to spend her time with her daughter, dancing, drinking tea, and gardening.
