Raven is a herbalist, artist, musician, and dreamer. Her relationship with the dream world began at age seven, when she started journaling her dreams - a practice she has carried and deepened ever since.
Her own healing journey with her menstrual cycle later led to the study of women’s/menstrual health herbalism and ethnobotany, where she also spent time in the Yucatán, Mexico studying womb and abdominal massage. She went on to study community herbalism before traveling to the Peruvian Amazon, where she trained as a kambo practitioner under the guidance of the Matsés tribe, undergoing a dieta and fully immersing herself in the Amazon’s plant traditions. It was there she had one of the most profound dreams of her life - a dream that still guides her today, and is the origin of her music project’s name, Starcodes.
After returning from the Amazon, Raven completed a year of herbal field studies in the deserts of southern New Mexico and Arizona. She went on to run her own practice, Moon Medicine, for seven years. A practice focused on women’s health, menstrual health, ancestral lineage healing, and kambo facilitation. She then stepped away from Moon Medicine to devote herself fully to her music, meditation, and dreaming. She immersed herself in the world of sound healing, meditation and breathwork while becoming a Yoga Nidra and Pranayama facilitator.
Raven is also a fourth-generation tarot reader and astrologer, drawing on ancestral, esoteric, and archetypal traditions alongside her dreamwork. Today she is a watercolor artist, dreamwork guide, musician and composer. She is rooted by her daily practices of meditation, breathwork, and movement.
Above all, Raven is committed to expanding consciousness through music, lived experience, dreamwork, and the wisdom of plant allies - a path that led her to the Central Florida Psychedelic Society.
